Notice of Annual General Meeting and Invitation to Apply to be a Trustee/Director
Our governing document, the Memorandum & Articles of Association, require us to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) within 15 months of the last one: the next will therefore take place on Monday 26 April 2021.
Unfortunately, because we have almost 500 members, coronavirus social distancing restrictions mean that we are unable to invite members to attend in person and also the Board considers it impractical to hold a web-based meeting. We therefore plan to hold a very simple AGM at the Arts Centre with the minimum number of Trustee/Directors present and the minimum number of agenda items/resolutions. The Annual Report and Accounts are available here, and we will send members the AGM agenda, proxy forms and any other papers well in advance, inviting you to submit any comments or questions before the meeting (preferably via email) and to submit your votes on the resolutions by means of proxy-forms.
The Board is keen to encourage new applicants to apply to be Trustee/Directors. If you would like to become more involved in the governance and strategic direction of the Arts Centre and you can offer expertise/experience in relevant areas, you will find details of the application process in the papers being issued.
