Dr. Don Shirley is a world-class African-American pianist who’s about to embark on a concert tour in the Deep South in 1962. Wild and Wonderful is a collection of photographs inspired by a place or a feeling; a moment captured of the view around us.

We are three amateur photographers brought together by a mutual love of photography and our emotional connection to the landscape. It’s not just about taking the image, but about how it feels to stand there, immersed in the moment. The occasional use of abstract styles invites space for the viewer to slow down and bring their own personal interpretations.

Photography gives us the opportunity to engulf ourselves in the mood of the landscape. At times it’s wild, at times it’s wonderful, and when everything comes together – it’s both!

Cut from the Olympic ski team, British athlete Michael “Eddie” Edwards travels to Germany to test his skills at ski jumping.

Fate leads him to Bronson Peary, a former ski jumper who now works as a snowplow driver. Impressed by Edwards’ spirit and determination, Peary agrees to train the young underdog. In 1946 a London-based writer begins exchanging letters with residents on the island of Guernsey, which was German-occupied during WWII.

Feeling compelled to visit the island, she starts to get a picture of what it was like during the occupation.

3 artists and a ceramicist who met on the Newlyn Professional Mentoring programme sharing an affinity for wild unkempt places, be it meadows, messy gardens or foreign lands.

Javed is a Pakistani teenager who experiences racial and economic turmoil while living in Luton, England, in 1987.

He writes poetry as a way to escape the intolerance of his hometown and the stubborn views of his traditional father. When a classmate introduces him to the music of Bruce Springsteen, Javed sees parallels between the singer’s powerful lyrics and his own working-class environment. Springsteen’s melodies soon inspire Javed to find his own voice and follow his dreams.

Founder member of The Cherub Theatre and Medieval Players Theatre companies, first performing in Edinburgh at the Fringe in The Two Noble Kinsmen in 1979. .Well known on TV for his appearance in ‘Dr Who’. Grange Hill, as well as many of the UK’s popular programmes. Together with his Fringe Management partner Michael Blaha they produced the first Pantomime in Los Angeles starring Zsa Zsa Gabor in 1993. Last seen in Doha as Sherlock Holmes The Last Act which has since being touring the UK and will be part of the Cunard programme in 2026 on The Queen Mary 2.

Everyone has a story. Your stories matter. Keith Alessi was neither a performer nor a musician before taking to the stage. He was an accountant and corporate CEO! He now shares his unconventional true story of overcoming great obstacles including cancer and how the healing power of music brought him back home to himself.

The grassroots sound of the banjo lures you in and brings you back to a simpler time in life, as Keith takes you on the journey of his story. This show has been highly awarded and reviewed while touring internationally and has profoundly affected audiences everywhere. Themes of forgiveness and the importance of pursuing your passions resonate throughout.

The variety of banjos that join him on stage are all characters and played important roles in his journey.

This is more than a show, it’s a cause. Keith has never accepted any form of remuneration for his performances, instead choosing to donate it to local charities and to Theatres in support of Artist development. As of June 2026 we have raised over $1.3 Million Dollars (CAD) for these causes.
