The Brutalist is a critically acclaimed, hugely ambitious, sweeping story of the conflicts and tensions in the relationship between a ruthless American capitalist and a Hungarian holocaust-surviving architect.

A critic has said that it is about ‘immigration, addiction, Zionism, architecture, inequity, class and violence’. This is filmmaking on a grand scale, too long for us to fit into a Friday evening.
